Trip The Switch 2021 Line-up

Icehouse headline the inaugural Trip The Switch music festival.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Icehouse, James Reyne and The Angels are set to headline the all-Aussie, classic rock line-up, Trip The Switch.

Set to take over Willowbank Raceway in Ipswich (just west of Brisbane) on 27 February, Trip The Switch organisers are working with the Queensland Government's Health Guidelines to produce a COVID-safe event.

The rest of the bill features Shannon Noll, Killing Heidi, Boom Crash Opera and local legends Blues Arcadia.

Whether it's 'Electric Blue' or 'Great Southern Land', Icehouse are dead-set Aussie champions with Iva Davies one of the country's best rock, new wave singer-songwriters.

'The Boys Light Up', 'Reckless', 'Beautiful People'; yes, James Reyne will be on-hand for a sing-along session with a few thousand of his mates – that'd be you!

While The Angels need no introduction to mainstream listeners with 17 Top 40 singles to their name. Their cover of 'We Gotta Get Out Of This Place' as well as original hit 'Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again' have cemented their reputation as kings of the stage.

Trip The Switch takes place at Willowbank Raceway (Brisbane) 27 February. Tickets on sale.
