More than a generation since they last toured down under, Scottish legends Travis return to Australia in 2026.
The 'Sing', 'Why Does It Always Rain On Me?', 'Side' and 'Closer' hitmakers will play their first Australian concerts since their 2001 sellout tour when they headline gigs in Fremantle, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane this January.
The indie rock stalwarts, winners of three Brit Awards including British Album Of The Year in 2000 for 'The Man Who', will perform that record (which spent nine weeks at #1 in the UK) in full alongside a selection of their greatest hits and fan favourites.
A record that sold 110,000 copies locally and helped propel the band to make their Glastonbury Festival debut, 'The Man Who' features their mega hit 'Why Does It Always Rain On Me?' as well as the singles 'Driftwood', 'Writing To Reach You' and 'Turn'.
It also contains the deeper cuts 'The Fear', 'Luv' and 'As You Are'; not forgetting the album's hidden, bonus track 'Blue Flashing Light'.
The band had a busy UK summer including joining Catfish And The Bottlemen and DMA'S in Cardiff as well as headlining Nottingham's Splendour Festival alongside Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party and Jake Bugg.
A band whose sound falls between Keane, Radiohead, Turin Brakes and Elbow, last year Travis released 'L.A. Times', their the tenth studio album that was produced by Tony Hoffer (The Kooks Beck, The Thrills, Air). They also joined The Killers on their US tour.
Tickets on sale from 3pm (local time) on 25 September.
