With a four record, 'Suck My Shirt', recently released via Brisbane label Smack Face Records, US punk, all-girl trio The Coathangers are headed to Oz in January.
On tour throughout western Europe and the UK last month, the girls have supplied a photo-tour diary to whet your appetite.
The Coathangers Tour Diary
We landed in Barcelona and the airline lost Julia's guitar and Steph's drum equipment. We played Primavera Club and it was awesome! Two days later we got our stuff back... Julia had to buy a new case because the airline broke it :(
San Sebastian is one of the most beautiful places we've ever seen. Our tour manager Zuhaitz is from there so he showed us around.

Lorient rules! They made us the best dinner and the show was amazing!

We made new friends in Leeds and they took us out for some breakfast.

We had a day off after two amazing, sold-out shows in London and Brighton, so we got to do laundry! So stoked!
We saw one of our best friends Ophèlie in Paris!
Amsterdam. We got stuck in traffic for three hours and finally arrived to the show ten minutes before we played. The show ruled. So did the next morning.
We made a new friend in Lille... Guillaume. He let us stay at his house and made us breakfast – "it's possible!”.
We played Le Guess Who? festival in Utrecht and got to see old friends and friends from home sweet home!
