What's new pussycat? For the first time since 2016, 'It's Not Unusual' and 'She's A Lady' sex-bomb, Tom Jones returns to Australia in 2024.
A career that has seen him knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2006, receive multiple BRIT Awards, a Silver Clef Award, the prestigious Music Industry Trusts Award and a Hitmaker Award from the US Songwriters Hall of Fame, Jones will headline concerts in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Newcastle and Sydney as well as appearing at A Day On The Green in Bowral alongside his already announced Bluesfest date."Very pleased to announce my band and I will be coming down under this [autumn] to tour Australia," Tom says.
The Welsh singer has a diverse catalogue spread across pop, R&B, show tunes, country, dance, soul, and gospel, with his songs amassing 36 Top 40 hits in the UK.
While he's seen a resurgence in recent years with younger audiences thanks in part to his ongoing role as a coach on 'The Voice UK'.
Jones' hits include the aforementioned 'It's Not Unusual', 'She's A Lady', 'Sex Bomb' and 'What's New Pussycat?' as well as 'Green, Green Grass Of Home', 'Delilah', 'Help Yourself', '(It Looks Like) I'll Never Fall In Love Again' and 'Burning Down The House'.
Special guest for the A Day On The Green performance will be Australian pop queen Delta Goodrem, while sibling pop trio Germein will be Tom Jones' support act at all of his other headline concerts.
"Incredibly excited to announce we'll be opening for the iconic and amazing Tom Jones next year on his Ages & Stages AUSTRALIA tour," shares Germein.
