After making its debut with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra earlier this year, live music production To Barbra, With Love returns for exclusive two-night seasons in Canberra, Adelaide and Sydney.
A musical celebration of the inimitable Barbra Streisand (who turned 80 earlier this year), To Barbra, With Love canvasses the Emmy, Golden Globe, Oscar and Tony-winning artist's immense back catalogue that includes such hits as 'The Way We Were' and 'Evergreen' to 'Send In The Clowns', 'You Don't Bring Me Flowers' and 'Guilty'.The production features two of Australia's emerging musical theatre talents, Elise McCann ('Matilda The Musical') and Ryan Gonzalez ('Moulin Rouge! The Musical'), who join Australia's own musical theatre royalty Caroline O'Connor.
The Canberra and Adelaide events will see songstress Katie Noonan join the show, while the Sydney leg will also feature Georgina Hopson ('Jagged Little Pill').
Each city will also feature the Canberra, Adelaide and Sydney symphony orchestras respectively under the baton of Vanessa Scammell, performing Streisand songs arranged by conductor and composer Nicholas Buc and directed by Cameron Mitchell.
Tickets on sale from 9am (local time) on 4 August.
