One of the biggest R&B-pop acts of all time, global superstars TLC are headed to Melbourne to perform a one-off intimate concert in early November.
The 'No Scrubs', 'Creep', 'Unpretty', and 'Waterfalls' Grammy Award-winning legends have notched up 9 top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 (the aforementioned singles all landed at #1).Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins and Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas recently retuned to the stage wowing the Glastonbury stage with all the '90s nostalgia feels.
Originally a trio with third member Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes, the group continued as a duo after Lopes' death in 2002 in a car accident in Honduras.
TLC achieved international status from the early '90s with four multi-platinum albums: 'Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip' (1992); 'Crazysexycool' (1994); 'FanMail' (1999); and '3D' (2002).
TLC are also headed to Australia as headliners of RNB Fridays presents: Fridayz Live. The Melbourne leg has sold out.
Set to join TLC will be R&B, soul newcomer KYE, whose newest single is titled 'Bossin''. Born in Zimbabwe and raised both in London and Melbourne, KYE has worked with Slum Sociable, Ruel, Genesis Owusu, Sampa The Great and others.
Tickets on sale from 1pm EDT on 12 October.
