Timmy Trumpet And Vengaboys: The Collaboration You Never Knew You Needed... Till Now

Vengaboys have collaborated with Australian EDM artist Timmy Trumpet reimagining their classic hit 'Up & Down'.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Queue the cowbell. Aussie EDM staple Timmy Trumpet has teamed with Eurodance legends Venga Boys, reimagining the group's iconic hit 'Up & Down'.

Lifted from Vengaboys second studio album, 1999's 'The Party Album!', 'Up & Down' remains relevant 20 years later having amassed 150,000 fan-made TikTok videos alone.

"We've been following Timmy since his sensational gigs at Tomorrowland," Vengaboys says.

"During our Australian tour, we ended up in his studio in Sydney and made a festival version of 'Up & Down' just for fun. We were stoked and immediately could feel it was a hit in the making."

Timmy, whose club hits have surpassed 1 billion streams, was stoked to work with one of his musical heroes.

"Artists like the Vengaboys shaped the music I make today, so when I was given the opportunity to work with such an iconic group I jumped at it.

"From the very first time I played it in my set, the response was so overwhelming we just had to release it."

And here's the original for those who've already whipped out their favourite pair of rave flares!
