Tim Finn 2023 Australia Tour

Tim Finn tours east-coast Australia September 2023.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

One of New Zealand's (and adopted Aussie) finest songwriters, Tim Finn returns to the stage after almost a decade away from the spotlight for a new show celebrating his creative life.

The musician who fronted Split Enz, migrated to Crowded House as songwriter-performer during their 'Woodface' era and carved out his own incredible solo career, will bring The Lives And Times Of Tim Finn concert series to Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney this September.

"It felt like my time had come," Finn says of his decision to put a band together and tour.

The concert will feature a career-spanning set list, from his work with Spilt Enz in the '70s-'80s, his turn in Crowded House in the early '90s, and his extensive solo catalogue.

Music lovers can expect to hear Split Enz gems 'I See Red', 'I Hope I Never', 'Six Months In A Leaky Boat', and 'Dirty Creature', Crowded House hits 'Weather With You' and 'Chocolate Cake', as well as solo favourites 'Fraction Too Much Friction', 'Made My Day', 'Staring At The Embers', 'Persuasion' and much, much more.

"Tim Finn is a living legend in Australian and New Zealand music," shares Sam Neill. "I myself have been his number one fan for more than forty years.

"He doesn't look old enough, but it's true. The chance to see Tim playing live is great cause for celebration, and furthermore a grand night out."

Australian musician Hayley Mary will be Tim special guest on tour.

Tickets on sale from 11am (local time) on 29 May.
