Tigerlily Responds To Nude Video Leak

Founder and Publisher. Based in Brisbane.
Howard started Scene Magazine in 1993. Paul Keating was Prime Minister. Whitney, Janet and Mariah all had Aussie #1s and Mark Zuckerberg was 9. Over 30 years he's overseen the growth of scenestr magazine to become Australia's largest – and only national – street press while forging a digital-first imperative for the title in the mid-naughties. He's judged more battle of the bands than he cares to remember and proud of the myriad media partnerships the company has earned across the music, arts and comedy sectors. He likes Star Trek and a good Oxford Comma – way too much fun at parties.

Tigerlily has responded on the front foot to yesterday's leaked, edited, nude Snapchat video of her in a hotel room.

The Sydney-based DJ said on Facebook that the act was a sex crime and the perpetrators were vulgar and childish.

"I am a young confident woman and I share many aspects of my life and who I am on social media. When I share content I make a conscious decision to do so. The content that has been ripped from Snapchat, edited and distributed is being done so against my will.

"How would you feel if this was happening to your best friend, your sister, or your girlfriend? It wouldn't be such a laugh then I'm sure?

I've read so many of your messages and I feel empowered by the strength and positivity of the beautiful people I have in my life. To my friends, fans and those choosing not to partake in the invasion of my privacy, I thank you.

Tigerlily told news.com.au her tour manager took the video in a hotel room in Munich and "She edited the video before she uploaded it. She made it black and white and then sped it up, so the Snapchat was only about two seconds in length, because it was going so fast. She covered my private parts with emojis and squiggles. You couldn’t see anything.”

The un-authorised editing involved re-colourising the video and removing the emojis to reveal the nude video that was originally taken. She referred to the site that removed the emojis as "creepy".

She has now set up a fundraising account for Headspace to support victims of bullying:
