Tips To Secure Your AC/DC Tickets

Founder and Publisher. Based in Brisbane.
Howard launched 'Scene Magazine' in 1993. Paul Keating was Prime Minister. Whitney, Janet and Mariah all had Aussie #1s and Mark Zuckerberg was 9. Over 30 years he's overseen the growth of scenestr to become Australia's largest – and only national – street press while forging a digital-first imperative in the mid-naughties. Social media remains a complete mystery to him. He's been spotted at raves, hip hop concerts, Motown revivals, judged battle of the bands, shot video for opening night and national awards red carpet, partnered with music industry showcases, comedy festivals and myriad other cultural productions ... and he interviewed Eddie Izzard. He likes Star Trek and a good Oxford comma — way too much fun at parties.

AC/DC ticketing agent, Ticketek has shared their tips to give fans the best chance of securing tickets when they go on sale Thursday, 26 June.

Following this morning’s announcement of AC/DC’s return to tour Australia Ticketek warned the sale period was "going to be huge" and wanted to make sure fans are fully prepared.

Tips To Secure Your AC/DC Tickets

Download the Ticketek App – Purchased tickets will only be accessible via the Ticketek App. Download the Ticketek App ahead of time to view your tickets. Or make sure your account is up to date with current payment info, email, and phone. You may need to verify your contact details via a one-time code.
Disable VPNs or IP-masking tools - your unique IP helps us confirm you’re a real person, not a bot.
Bot detection is active – Turn off any browser extensions that could trigger bot detection.
Join the Ticketek Lounge – The Ticketek Lounge will open one hour before the on sale time.
Don’t refresh or close your browser – the page will automatically refresh.
Use one device only –Access the presale from a single browser on one device. Using multiple devices or browsers at once may trigger bot protection and could remove you from the queue.
Avoid multiple tabs – Opening the page in more than one tab can cause you to lose your place in the queue.
Have your phone handy – A verification code may be sent to your mobile during sign-in or from your bank during payment.
Be checkout-ready – Ensure your bank won’t block the transaction by checking spending limits or pre-authorising the purchase.

Good luck!
