Australian deathcore legends, Thy Art Is Murder have pushed back their Australian tour - scheduled to start later this month – to October 2021.
"Throughout this year the entertainment industry, in particular the music industry, has been hit with devastating force," the band said via a Facebook post.
"Our lives have been thrown into turmoil, our crew as well as us have been thrown out of our jobs, but more importantly our sense of purpose and place in the world.
"Your support throughout has been unwavering and patient and we cannot thank you all enough for helping to get us through.
"Now, after months of uncertainty, booking and rebooking, we have set our sights firmly on October 2021 to bring chaos to venues around Australia once again. Join us in this celebration of our newest album 'Human Target'."
All tickets for the December 2020 tour dates are valid for the new, rescheduled shows. Thy Art Is Murder apologise to all fans affected by the postponement.
Thy Art Is Murder's newest track is 'Killing Season', which they released in late October. "'Killing Season' touches on the darkness surrounding the origins of Thanksgiving," the band says.
"While that subject is relevant at this time of year, we want you to think of atrocities and injustices both past and present that deserve our acknowledgement." Tickets on sale now.
