Fresh from releasing their latest studio album, 'All This Life', Thundamentals will tour nationally this summer.
However, original member Tuka is stepping back from touring commitments retiring from the live aspect of Thundamentals.Fellow band members Jeswon and Morgs will continue Thundas incredible live legacy as one of the country's preeminent hip hop acts bringing their contagious energy to Cairns, Brisbane, Adelaide, Fremantle, Wollongong, Canberra, Melbourne, Torquay, Newcastle and Sydney throughout January and February.
Thundas will be joined onstage by lead vocalist of Horrorshow, Solo, for this tour. Horrorshow will also act as the tour's main support act.
"He's fallen out of love with being out on the road, and putting himself out there in such a public way," Jeswon told us last week about Tuka's decision.
"It does have its toll on artists, this expectation to go above and beyond in order to give people more and more access to your life. It's not like a nine-to-five where you can just punch in and out. We've got nothing but understanding for where Tuk's at.
"For Morgs and I, it's very different. The idea of doing live shows is honestly super exciting to us right now. We're pumped at being able to have that again, even though it's obviously going to be a different experience from now on.
"It's a tricky one, but we're going to continue to uphold Tuk's legacy and Thundamentals' legacy as best we can."
'All This Life' is Thundamentals sixth studio record and their first in four years.
Tickets are on sale.
