One-of-a-kind, all-inclusive heavy camping festival Thrashville is back at Hunter Valley. . . Coming in swinging with another massive line-up this September.
It’s been a tumultuous few years with cancellations and determined reschedules, and 2023 is set to be Thrashville’s biggest line-up in its six-year history. Heavyweight progressive rock three-piece Cog will headline.
Thrashville has becoming something of a pilgrimage for heavy music fans since its inception in 2017. Each year it receives a mountain of applications from punk, metal, rock performers from across Australia, eager to perform on the bushland stage.
In 2023, the ‘slightly heavier’ music festival will also feature a line-up of artists bending and weaving its way through myriad styles and genres. . . Including another familiar heavy rock act, Mammal. Plus, Melbourne’s proto punk Civic, Sydney experimentalists Shady Nasty, garage rockers Crocodylus, femme soul punkers Downgirl, and emerging Indigenous act, Wildheart.
The festival is held in the Hunter Valley’s Dashville, and is set to serve up a fresh plate of awesome emerging and established acts. It’s a two-night event for all with a penchant for punk, hard rock, heavy metal and everything in between – but it doesn’t start and end with music. . . There’ll also be tattooing, live graffiti, and pro-skateboarding displays.
Tickets are on sale now.
Thrashville takes place at Wonnarua, Hunter Valley 8-9 September.
