Thrashville 2022 Line-Up

Top-Bottom, L-R: Totally Unicorn, Astrodeath, Bitchcraft, Fangz

After two years of cancellations and reschedules, one-of-a-kind, all-inclusive heavy festival Thrashville is back this September.

Thrashville, which only just had its postponed 2021 event in February of this year, will hit Hunter Valley a second time for 2022 with a fresh plate of awesome emerging and established acts. Anyone with a penchant for punk, hard, rock, heavy metal and everything In between will be right at home.

Since beginnings in 2017, Thrashville has been a key pilgrimage for the heavy metal community. Each year it receives a mountain of applications from punk, metal, and rock performers across Australia, eager to perform on the bushland stage.

Across two days, the 2022 festival will feature seamless live music across two stages, but that’s not all – tattooing, like graff and pro-skateboarding displays will also be on offer.

When it comes to the music, punters can expect to see the shifty extreme punk of Wollongong’s Totally Unicorn for the first time ever. Plus, Sydney-based punk rockers Fangz, revered Newcastle punk rockers Hack The Mainframe, Sydney metalcore maniacs Arteries, plus emerging acts like Crucial Times, Boycott, Tired Minds, Telurian, Latest God and The Wandering.

Punk, stoner, metal experience The Neptune Power Federation make their welcome return to Thrashville, and there’s The Australian Beef Week Show, the funky sludge/doom of Mountain Wizard Death Cult, and local all-girl punk band Bitchcraft.

Heavy duo Astrodeath return from their spot on the 2020 edition line-up, as do prog metallers The Witching Hour and local collaborators Bloody Hell. Still moist from their set at PigSty in July is loveable squadron Well?

Tickets are on sale now.
