Welcome to This Week In Pop.
This week Sabrina Carpenter’s first #1 album, 'Short n’ Sweet', holds on top for a second week, while Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds return with their 19th charted album, 'Wild God', new at #2.
It’s the legendary Aussie band's 14th top 10 album. They took the #1 spot with 'Push The Sky Away' in 2013 and 'Skeleton Tree' in 2016, while their most recent studio album, 'Ghosteen', peaked at #2 in 2019.
The most-talked-about band of the last week, Oasis, land at #10 with the 30th anniversary edition of their first album 'Definitely Maybe'.
On the Singles Chart, it’s also the second week at #1 for Sabrina Carpenter’s 'Taste', while her former #1 'Espresso' is at #2. Thanks to 'Espresso', 'Please Please Please' and 'Taste', Sabrina has been at #1 for five weeks so far in 2024, more than any other female artist.
