Welcome to This Week In Pop.
Harry is in the house and Tim Rogers makes a top 10 debut.
Harry Styles’ return to Australia has stormed the ARIA Charts this week as 'Harry’s House' rockets back to #1, while Tim Rogers debuts with his first solo top 10.
This week marks the ninth non-consecutive week that Harry’s House has spent at #1 in Australia and its first time at #1 in more than six months. The album first hit the top on the week of 30 May 2022 and stayed there for three weeks. It then had a four-week run in July and the first week of August last year before snagging one more week on 22 August.
Debuting at #2 on the Albums Chart, 'Cracker Island' is the eighth studio album from Damon Albarn’s beloved 2-D group Gorillaz, comprising Murdoc Niccals, Noodle and Russell Hobbs. The band achieved an Australian #1 with 'Plastic Beach' after it hit the top spot on the Albums Chart in 2010.
You Am I front man Tim Rogers makes a solo debut with Tim Rogers and The Twin Set’s 'Tines of Stars Unfurled' at #4, and Queen front man Adam Lambert debuts at #7 with 'High Drama'.
Miley Cyrus’ 'Flowers' spends its seventh week in a row at #1 on the Singles Chart, equaling the chart-topping run of Miley’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, in 1992 with 'Achy Breaky Heart'.
