#1: Joji ‘Nectar’ – Australian-Japanese artist Joji hits #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart for the first time as he debuts in the top spot with Nectar. The follow-up to 'Ballads 1' (#17 November ’18) features the singles ‘Sanctuary’ (#42 June ’19) and ‘Run’ (#39 February ’20). 'Nectar' includes collaborations with Benee, Lil Yachty and Diplo, among others. Joji is the first artist part of the hip hop collective 88rising to have a #1 album in Australia.#2: Machine Gun Kelly ‘Tickets To My Downfall’ – Machine Gun Kelly scores his first Top Ten on the ARIA Albums Chart as he releases his fifth studio album 'Tickets To My Downfall'. The follow-up to 'Hotel Diablo' (#26 July ’19) marks the American artist’s move from rap to pop punk and features the singles ‘My Ex’s Best Friend’ (#22 September ’20). Guests on the album include Halsey, Iann Dior, blackbear and Trippie Redd.
#3: Deftones ‘OHMS’ – Alt-metal band Deftones follow-up the #1 album 'Gore' (#1 April ’16) with 'OHMS'. It’s the American group’s ninth studio album. It’s the first Deftones album to feature guitarist Stephen Carpenter playing a nine-string guitar. It becomes the Deftones’ eighth Top 50 entry.
#6: Alpha Wolf ‘A Quiet Place To Die’ – Tasmanian metalcore band Alpha Wolf take out their first ever Top Ten entry as they release 'A Quiet Place To Die'. The Burnie band’s second studio album comes three years on from debut album 'Mono' (#29 July ’17). Between albums in 2019 they released the EP 'Fault'. Alpha Wolf have debuted at #2 on the ARIA Vinyl Albums Chart this week.
#7: IDLES ‘Ultra Mono’ – Releasing third album 'Ultra Mono', British rock band IDLES make their Top 50 debut. The Bristol band formed in 2009 and have previously released the studio albums 'Brutalism' (2017) and 'Joy As An Act Of Resistance' (2018). Earlier in 2020, they put out the live album 'Live At Ramsgate Music Hall'. 'Ultra Mono' includes guest appearances by Warren Ellis (The Dirty Three, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds), Jehnny Beth (Savages), David Yow (The Jesus Lizard) and jazz-pop artist Jamie Cullum. 'Ultra Mono' is #1 on this week’s ARIA Vinyl Albums Chart.

#1: 24kGoldn Feat. Iann Dior ‘Mood’ – In its seventh week in the Top 50, ‘Mood’ by 24kGoldn hits #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for the first time. It becomes the first chart-topper in Australia for the American rapper, real name Golden Landis Von Jones. The move of ‘Mood’ to #1 comes a week after it hit #1 in the UK. To date, it’s peaked at #5 in the US.#10: Tate McRae ‘You Broke Me First’ – Moving up four spots, ‘You Broke Me First’ by Canadian singer-songwriter Tate McRae hits #10. So far, it’s peaked at #23 in her homeland, and at #13 in the UK.
