'Man I Need' is now the longest running #1 single by a solo female artist since Sabrina Carpenter’s 'Taste' topped the chart for eight weeks in 2024 and the longest running #1 by a female English artist since Kate Bush’s 1985 song 'Running Up That Hill' ruled for nine weeks in 2022.
The entire top 10 consists of former #1 albums, with Taylor Swift taking two spots ('The Life Of A Showgirl' at #2 and 'The Tortured Poets Department' at #7) and Sabrina Carpenter also appearing twice ('Man’s Best Friend' at #4 and 'Short N’ Sweet' at #5).
