This week, Drake and Ed sit at #1 for another week. Dami Im debuts her new album and breaks the top five while George Ezra, The Wolfe Brothers and Shawn Mendes all debut new work too.

This week's album chartifacts

#1: Ed Sheeran ‘÷’ – Ed Sheeran’s ÷ remains in the top spot for a 26th week on the ARIA Albums Chart. The album now overtakes John Farnham’s ‘Whispering Jack’ 25 week run at #1 back in 1986/1987.
#3: Dami Im ‘I Hear A Song’ (Debut) – Korean-born Australian singer-songwriter, and the winner of the fifth season of 'The X Factor' Australia, Dami Im makes her fourth appearance on the ARIA Album Chart top 50 this week with her fifth studio album ‘I Hear A Song’. The album is made up of twelve cover songs and two original tracks. Dami’s previous appearances in the ARIA Top 50 Albums Chart include 'Dami Im' (#1 November ’13), 'Heart Beats' (#7 October ’14) & 'Classic Carpenters' (#3 May ’16).
#7: George Ezra ‘Staying At Tamara’s’ (Debut) – English Singer-songwriter and musician George Ezra makes his second top ten appearance on the ARIA Albums Chart with ‘Staying At Tamara’s’. Ezra’s second album comes four years on from his debut album 'Wanted On Voyage' which peaked at #4 in January of 2015.
#9: The Wolfe Brothers ‘Country Heart’ (Debut) – Australian country rock band and runners-up for 2012’s 'Australia’s Got Talent' make their ARIA Albums Chart debut with their fourth studio album ‘Country Heart’.

This week's single chartifacts

#1: Drake ‘God’s Plan’ – Drake’s ‘God’s Plan’ maintains its grip on the #1 position on the ARIA Singles Chart for a ninth straight week.
#3: Dua Lipa ‘IDGAF’ – Dua Lipa’s ‘IDGAF’ continues its climb up the ARIA Singles Chart, jumping five spots to #3. This is Dua Lipa’s third top ten on the ARIA Singles Chart. She’s previously hit the top ten with ‘Be The One’ (#6 May ’16) and ‘New Rules’ (#2 September ’17).
#4: Marshmello & Anne Marie ‘Friends’ – ‘Friends’ the song recorded by American music producer Marshmello and English singer Anne-Marie makes its way up the ARIA Singles Chart achieving a new peak at #4. It’s American producer Marshmello’s third top ten and his highest appearance on the ARIA Singles Chart, following the Khalid collaboration ‘Silence’ (#5 January ’18) and the Selena Gomez collaboration ‘Wolves’ (#5 December ’17). It’s Anne-Marie’s second top ten entry as lead artist after ‘Alarm’ (#7 August ’16).
#5: Lil Dicky Feat. Chris Brown ‘Freaky Friday’ – ‘Freaky Friday’ by American rapper and comedian Lil Dicky featuring American singer-songwriter Chris Brown leaps up the ARIA Singles Chart this week thirteen positions to #5.
#9: Shawn Mendes ‘In My Blood’ (Debut) – Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes returns to the ARIA Singles Chart this week for the first time in 2018 with ‘In My Blood’. The track will be featured on his upcoming third studio album.
