This week's album chartifacts
#1: Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper ‘A Star Is Born’ – Three weeks into its chart run, the soundtrack to the 2018 version of 'A Star Is Born' has moved to #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart for the first time. It becomes Lady Gaga’s third #1 album on the ARIA Charts after 'The Fame Monster' (#1 April ’10) and 'Born This Way' (#1 May ’11). It’s actor Bradley Cooper’s first #1 album.#2: Rüfüs Du Sol ‘Solace’ (Debut) – Sydney dance act Rüfüs Du Sol take out a third Top Three debut on the ARIA Albums Chart with 'Solace'. The trio’s third studio album is the first released under their current moniker, having released 'Atlas' (#1 August ’13) and 'Bloom' (#1 February ’16) as Rüfüs. One track from 'Solace' has hit the ARIA Top 50: ‘No Place’ (#41 June ’18).
#3: Disturbed ‘Evolution’ (Debut) – Disturbed follow up 'Immortalized' (#1 August ’15) with 'Evolution'. It’s the American band’s seventh studio album and second released since their return from hiatus in 2015. 'Evolution' is Disturbed’s fourth Top Ten on the ARIA Albums Chart.
#5: Queen ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ (Debut) – Ahead of the film’s release, the soundtrack to the Queen biopic 'Bohemian Rhapsody' makes its chart debut. The album features hits, previously unreleased tracks and live performances by the legendary British group, including their full set from Live Aid in 1985. 'Bohemian Rhapsody' is released in Australia on 1 November.
#6: Various: ‘Triple J's Like A Version 14’ (Debut) – Triple J’s 'Like A Version 14' becomes the ninth release in the 'Like A Version' series to hit the Top Ten on the ARIA Albums Chart. The new release features covers performed by the likes of Gang Of Youths, Ball Park Music, Dean Lewis, Meg Mac, Odette, Polish Club, Phoenix, Cloud Control and more. Triple J's 'Like A Version' 13 debuted at #1 in October 2017.

#1: Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper ‘Shallow’ – Jumping up 16 places, the lead single from the soundtrack to 'A Star Is Born' hits #1 on this week’s ARIA Singles Chart. It’s Lady Gaga’s fourth track to top the chart, having previously peaked at #1 with ‘Just Dance’ (#1 September ’08), ‘Poker Face’ (#1 November ’08) and ‘Born This Way’ (#1 February ’11). Bradley Cooper’s debut chart appearance has given him his first #1.#6: Khalid ‘Better’ – With Khalid’s new EP 'Suncity' debuting at #9 on this week’s Album Chart, its lead single moves up three spots to claim a new peak at #6. The American singer-songwriter takes out another chart entry this week, debuting at #30 with the EP’s title track.
#8: Halsey ‘Without Me’ – After cracking the Top Ten for the first time last week, Halsey’s ‘Without Me’ moves up a further two spots to hit a new peak this week at #8.
#10: Billie Eilish ‘When The Party's Over’ (Debut) – Billie Eilish takes out a second Top Ten entry on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘When The Party's Over’. The track is the first to be released from the 16-year-old American singer-songwriter’s forthcoming debut album. Eilish first hit the Top Ten with ‘Lovely’ (#5 July ’18).
