Welcome to This Week In Pop.

Meg Mac debuts at the top of the ARIA Albums chart this week, beating out pop supernovas BLACKPINK for the #1 spot and an ARIA chart peak.

'Matter of Time', Meg Mac’s third studio album, represents the Australian singer-songwriter’s best performance on the ARIA Charts after 2017’s 'Low Blows' peaked at #2. She has previously been nominated for Best Female Artist and Breakthrough Artist of the year at the 2015 ARIA Awards.

After making ARIA chart history with their #1 single 'Pink Venom', K-pop megastars BLACKPINK debut at #2 on the Albums Chart with their second studio album, 'BORN PINK'. The act, featuring Australian-raised main singer Rosé, also debut at #5 on the Singles Chart with 'Shut Down'. 'Pink Venom' returns to the top 20 at #18.
