This week, George Ezra reaches #1 on the Singles Chart while Eminem continues his reign on the Albums chart. 6Lack, David Guetta and Carrie Underwood debut new work.

This week's album chartifacts

#1: Eminem ‘Kamikaze’ – For the third consecutive week, Eminem sits at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with 'Kamikaze'.
#4: Carrie Underwood ‘Cry Pretty’ (Debut) – American country star Carrie Underwood takes out a third Top Ten and third #4 peak on the ARIA Albums Chart with 'Cry Pretty'. Underwood’s sixth studio album comes three years on from 'Storyteller' (#4 Nov. ’15).
#6: 6lack ‘East Atlanta Love Letter’ (Debut) – With his second album, Atlanta singer-songwriter/rapper 6lack makes his debut appearance on the ARIA Albums Chart. 'East Atlanta Love Letter' is the follow-up to 2016’s 'Free 6lack' and includes collaborations with Future, J. Cole, Migos’ Offset and Khalid. 6lack and Khalid previously hit the Singles Chart together, along with Ty Dolla $ign, with ‘OTW’ (#27 June ’18).
#9: David Guetta ‘7’ (Debut) – David Guetta releases '7', his first album in four years. The French producer’s first album since 'Listen' (#11 December ’14) features the singles ‘2U’ (#2 June. ’17), ‘Dirty Sexy Money’ (#18 January ’18), ‘Flames’ (#19 May ’18), Don’t Leave Me Alone’ (#43 August ’18) and ‘Goodbye’ (#36 September ’18). There are appearances by a plethora of guests including Sia, Anne-Marie, Bebe Rexha, Jason Derulo, Justin Bieber and Jess Glynne.

This week's single chartifacts

#1: George Ezra ‘Shotgun’ – British singer-songwriter George Ezra hits #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘Shotgun’. In its eighth week in the Top 50, the track moves up two spots to give Ezra his first Australian #1. The track spent four non-consecutive weeks at #1 in the UK between July and September.
#4: Lil Pump & Kanye West ‘I Love It’ – In its second week on the chart, Lil Pump and Kanye West’s ‘I Love It’ moves up three spots to claim a new peak at #4.
#8: Marshmello & Bastille ‘Happier’ – Jumping up five spots, Marshmello and Bastille’s ‘Happier’ hits the Top Ten for the first time at #8. It’s the American DJ/producer’s fourth Top Ten after ‘Wolves’ (#5 December. ’17), ‘Silence’ (#5 January. ’18) and ‘Friends’ (#4 April ’18).
