This week, Adele claims her third Singles Chart #1, Coldplay claim their seventh Albums Chart #1, and The Beatles, Baker Boy and Kylie Minogue hit the top ten.

#1: Coldplay ‘Music Of The Spheres’ – Releasing 'Music Of The Spheres', Coldplay claim their seventh #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The follow-up to 'Everyday Life' (#1 December ’19) is the British band’s ninth studio album and includes the singles ‘Higher Power’ (#44 May ’21) and ‘My Universe’ (#7 October ’21), which is a collaboration with K-pop superstars BTS. 'Music Of The Spheres' also features contributions from Selena Gomez and producer Max Martin, among others. Coldplay have also scored #1 albums in Australia with 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head' (#1 September ‘02), 'X&Y' (#1 June ’05), 'Viva La Vida' (#1 June ’08), 'Mylo Xyloto' (#1 October ’11) and 'Ghost Stories' (#1 May ’14).#2: The Beatles ‘Let It Be’ – 'Let It Be', the legendary final studio album released by The Beatles, gets re-released to mark its 50th anniversary, albeit a year late. Reissued in a number of variations, the new versions include the original album released in May 1970, plus outtakes and alternate mixes from the sessions which occurred during January 1969; prior to the recording and release of 'Abbey Road'. Some issues also feature a remaster of producer Glyn Johns' original 1969 album, when it was still to be titled 'Get Back'. 'Let It Be' spent four weeks at #1 in Australia in June 1970. This reissue’s entry on the chart continues the run of Top Tens by 50th anniversary editions by the Fab Four that’s also included 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' (#5 June ‘17), 'The Beatles' (aka 'The White Album') (#10 November ‘18) and 'Abbey Road' (#2 October ‘19). 'Let It Be' also lands on the ARIA Vinyl Albums Chart this week at #2.
#3: Baker Boy ‘Gela’ – Six-time ARIA Award nominee Baker Boy makes his ARIA Top 50 debut at #3 with 'Gela'. The Yolngu rapper’s long-awaited debut album includes performances by JessB, G Flip, Jerome Farah, Thando, Yirrmal, Lara Andallo and Uncle Jack Charles. Topping the Australian Artist Albums Chart, 'Gela' also debuts at #3 on the ARIA Vinyl Albums Chart.
#6: Kylie Minogue ‘Fever’ – Kylie Minogue’s iconic 2001 album Fever receives the reissue treatment on white vinyl to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The ARIA Hall Of Fame member’s second #1 album in Australia spent five weeks in the top spot. It produced the hits ‘Can't Get You Out of My Head’ (#1 September ‘01), ‘In Your Eyes’ (#1 January ‘02), ‘Love at First Sight’ (#3 June ‘02) and ‘Come into My World’ (#4 November ‘02). 'Fever' and its singles earned Minogue five ARIA Awards in 2002 and has been accredited 7x Platinum in Australia. 'Fever' debuts at #1 on the ARIA Vinyl Albums Chart this week.
#8: Adele ‘25’ – With ‘Easy On Me’ hitting #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart this week, Adele has also made an impact on the Albums Chart. Her last album, '25', has climbed ten spots to hit #8. Meanwhile, second album '21' is up 13 to #11 and her debut album '19' has re-entered the Top 50 at #41.

#1: Adele ‘Easy On Me’ – Returning with ‘Easy On Me’, her first new music in five years, British pop superstar Adele takes out her third #1 in the ARIA Singles Chart. The first single released from the singer-songwriter’s forthcoming fourth album, '30', is her first appearance on the Singles Chart since ‘Water Under The Bridge’ (#23 March ’17). She’s previously hit #1 with ‘Someone Like You’ (#1 June ’11) and ‘Hello’ (#1 November ’15). ‘Someone Like You’ and ‘Rolling In The Deep’ have re-entered the chart this week at #40 and #43, respectively.
