Welcome to This Week In Pop.
This week, Sabrina Carpenter scores a rare chart double on the ARIA Singles Chart, while two very different artists debut in the top five of the albums chart.
Sabrina lands her second #1 in less than two months, as 'Please Please Please' steps up from #4 last week. Right behind it at #2 is her hit track 'Espresso', which spent a week on top in May.
Billie Eilish stays at the albums chart summit for the fourth week with 'Hit Me Hard And Soft'. The two biggest charting tracks from it, 'Lunch' and 'Birds Of A Feather', have both peaked at #5.
American country superstar Luke Combs arrives at #3 with his fifth studio album, 'Fathers & Sons'. It maintains his perfect record: all five have gone top 10.
English producer Fred again... lands in the top five of the ARIA Albums Chart for the first time with 'USB', new at #4. It’s his fourth studio album and second visit to the top 10. $uicideboy$ debuts at #6 with 'New World Depression'. It’s the rap duo’s fourth album; their best performer here until now was 'I Want To Die In New Orleans', which climbed to #10 in 2018.
