Welcome to This Week In Pop.
This week, the 'KPop Demon Hunters' soundtrack holds at #1 for its sixth non-consecutive week on the ARIA Album Charts, tying with Sabrina Carpenter’s 'Short N’ Sweet' as the longest running #1 album so far in 2025.
'KPop Demon Hunters' is the biggest chart-topper from an animated movie since the ARIA charts started in 1983.
Conan Gray’s new album 'Wishbone' lands at #2. It’s his fourth top 30 album: he reached #26 in 2020 with 'Kid Krow', #8 in 2022 with 'Superache' and #10 last year with 'Found Heaven'.
The release of a special one-year anniversary vinyl edition sends Billie Eilish’s 'Hit Me Hard And Soft' back up the chart from #16 to #4. It debuted at #1 in May last year and has spent five non-consecutive weeks on top.
American country singer Jordan Davis is new at #9 with 'Learn The Hard Way'. It’s his third studio album; his second album, 'Bluebird Days', stopped at #82 in 2023.
