Welcome to This Week In Pop.
British pop superstar Harry Styles has roared back to the top of the charts this week, with 'As It Was' returning to the #1 spot on the ARIA Singles Chart and 'Harry’s House' reclaiming #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
The lead single from 'Harry’s House' has now been #1 for 7 non-consecutive weeks, while the album has been on top for 6 of its 13 charting weeks.
American hip-hop queen Nicki Minaj scores the highest debuting single of the week, with 'Super Freaky Girl' arriving at #4. The single, from her upcoming fifth studio album, samples the late Rick James’ 1981 hit 'Super Freak' and is her first top 10 single since 'Bed Of Lies' in 2014.
On the Albums Chart, The Weeknd’s 'The Highlights' returns to its #2 peak in its 80th week on the chart, while Aussie Indie-Rock outfit Spacey Jane re-enter the Top Ten at #7. Troy Cassar-Daley also debuts at #8 with '50 Songs 50 Towns'.
