This week's album chartifacts
#1: Post Malone ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’ – Post Malone’s second ARIA #1 album spends a second week at the top of the chart. His previous #1, 'Beerbongs & Bentleys' (#1 May ’18), also spent two weeks in the top spot.#3: Ruel ‘Free Time’ – Sydney artist Ruel makes his Albums Chart Top 50 debut with the EP Free Time. The second EP by the 16-year-old songwriter includes the single ‘Painkiller’ (#35 June ’19). Ruel released his debut EP, 'Ready', in June 2018. He won Breakthrough Artist at the ARIA Awards in the same year.
#5: Korn ‘The Nothing’ – Korn nab their ninth Top Ten on the Albums Chart as they release 'The Nothing'. The American nu-metal band’s thirteenth album comes three years on from 'The Serenity Of Suffering' (#5 October ’16). Korn previously topped the chart with 'Follow The Leader' (#1 August ’98) and 'Issues' (#1 November ’99).
#7: Charli XCX ‘Charli’ – Charli XCX makes her Top 50 debut with third album, 'Charli'. It’s the British pop artist’s first studio album since 2014’s 'Sucker' and includes appearances by Haim, Lizzo, Christine And The Queens and more. The album’s lead single was ‘1999’ (#18 January ’19), a collaboration with ARIA Award-winner Troye Sivan.

#1: Tones And I ‘Dance Monkey’ – As it spends its eighth consecutive week at #1, ‘Dance Monkey’ by Tones And I claims the record for most weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart by an Australian female solo artist; breaking a 32 year record previously held by Kylie Minogue’s ‘Locomotion’ (#1 August ’87).#4: Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey ‘Don't Call Me Angel (Charlie’s Angels)’ – Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey team up for ‘Don't Call Me Angel (Charlie’s Angels)’. It’s the lead single from the soundtrack to the 2019 reboot of 'Charlie's Angels', which will be released in Australia in November. The track is Grande’s twelfth Top Ten single in Australia and fourth for 2019. For Cyrus, it’s her eighth Top Ten and the first since ‘Malibu’ (#3 May ’17). Lana Del Rey has appeared in the Top Ten twice before, the last time being ‘Summertime Sadness – Cedric Gervais Remix’ (#3 September ’13).
#6: Marshmello Feat. Kane Brown ‘One Thing Right’ – After three straight weeks at #7, Marshmello’s ‘One Thing Right’ moves up one spot to claim a new peak at #6. It’s the track’s twelfth week in the Top 50.
