This week, George Ezra chalks up five weeks on top while Paul Kelly hits #1 on the Albums Chart and Hands Like Houses and Morgan Evans debut new music.

This week's album chartifacts

#1: Paul Kelly ‘Nature’ (Debut) – Paul Kelly takes out his second #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with 'Nature'. It’s the 24th studio album from the acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter, who was inducted into the ARIA Hall Of Fame in 1997. 'Life Is Fine', Kelly’s previous studio album, earned him his first #1 when it debuted in the top spot in August 2017. It also won Kelly four ARIA Awards including Best Male Artist and Best Adult Contemporary Album.
#4: Hands Like Houses ‘Anon.’ (Debut) – Releasing 'Anon.', their fourth studio album, Hands Like Houses score a new peak on the ARIA Albums Chart. The album comes two years on from the Canberra rock band previous release, 'Dissonants' (#7 March ’16). In the week of release, the band played launch shows in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
#5: Morgan Evans ‘Things That We Drink To’ (Debut) – Australian country singer-songwriter Morgan Evans takes out his first Top Ten entry on the ARIA Albums Chart with, 'Things That We Drink To'. The album comes four years on from Evans’ self-titled debut (#20 Mar. ’14) and features the single ‘Day Drunk’ (#37 October ’18), as well as a duet with his wife, American country artist Kelsea Ballerini.
#8: Powderfinger ‘Internationalist’ – A return to the ARIA Top Ten this week for Powderfinger’s third album, following a reissue to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Debuting at #1 on September 1998, Internationalist was the first of the Brisbane band’s five #1 albums on the ARIA Charts and earned them four ARIA Awards in 1999, including Album Of The Year.

#1: George Ezra ‘Shotgun’ – For the fifth consecutive week, British singer-songwriter George Ezra holds #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart with the track Shotgun. In the UK, the single spent four weeks at #1.
#10: Halsey ‘Without Me’ – Without Me by American artist Halsey cracks the Top 10 this week on the ARIA Top 50 Singles Chart. The track is Halsey’s third to chart in the Top 50. She is also currently sitting at #2 as one of the featured artists on Benny Blanco’s 'Eastside'.
