Welcome to This Week In Pop.

This week, Sabrina Carpenter and the Rosé/Bruno Mars combo both reach new milestones on the ARIA Charts this week, scoring ten non-consecutive weeks at the top of the Albums and Charts respectively.

Sabrina’s 'Short n’ Sweet' has been riding high on the Albums Chart since it arrived in late August, spending 10 of its 21 weeks in the penthouse. Three of the album’s four official singles – 'Espresso', 'Please Please Please' and 'Taste' – hit #1 while 'Bed Chem' stopped at #10.

The song of the summer, Rosé and Bruno Mars’ 'APT.', holds at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for its tenth non-consecutive week.

It’s Rosé’s first solo chart-topper, although as part of Blackpink she went to #1 in 2022 with 'Pink Venom'. For Bruno, it’s his fourth #1 single and his longest running one.
