Welcome to This Week In Pop.
This week, Sleep Token land at the top of the ARIA Albums Chart with 'Even In Arcadia', while Spacey Jane score a #2 debut with 'If That Makes Sense'.
'Even In Arcadia' is the mask-wearing English rock band’s second charted album in Australia; they reached #3 in 2023 with 'Take Me Back To Eden'.
For Spacey Jane, it’s three-for-three in the top 10: they hit #2 in 2020 with 'Sunlight' and #1 in 2022 with 'Here Comes Everybody'. They also won Song of the Year at the 2021 ARIA Awards with 'Booster Seat'.
The release of the Complete Edition of The Weeknd’s 'Hurry Up Tomorrow' sees it jumps from #78 to #10. It spent one week at #1 in February this year, becoming his fifth chart-topper.
On the Singles Chart, Alex Warren’s 'Ordinary' holds at #1 for the eighth straight week. It’s now the longest running chart-topper of 2025, moving head of Rosè and Bruno Mars’ 'APT', which spent seven weeks at #1 earlier this year.
