#1: Post Malone ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’ – American hip hop artist Post Malone picks up his second #1 album on the ARIA Charts as he debuts in the top spot with Hollywood’s Bleeding. Released just over a year on from previous #1, Beerbongs & Bentleys (#1 May ’18), Post Malone’s third album includes collaborations with Ozzy Osbourne, Future, Halsey, SZA, Travis Scott and more. 13 of the album’s tracks are in the Top 50 of this week’s ARIA Singles Chart, including ‘Circles’ at #2.#6: Melanie Martinez ‘K-12’ – Releasing K-12, Melanie Martinez takes out her first Top Ten entry on the ARIA Charts. The American singer-songwriter’s second album comes four years on from her debut, Cry Baby (#27 Aug. ’15). K-12 is accompanied by a film of the same name that Martinez wrote and directed. The album is #2 on this week’s Vinyl Albums Chart.
#10: Mallrat ‘Driving Music’ – Brisbane artist Mallrat makes her ARIA Top 50 debut with Driving Music. It’s the third EP by the musician/singer/rapper also known as Grace Shaw. She previously released Uninvited (2016) and In The Sky (2018). Mallrat is currently touring across the US with Allday. Driving Music hit #3 on the Vinyl Albums Chart this week.

She now equals the record for most weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart by an Australian female solo artist, joining Kylie Minogue’s ‘Locomotion’ (#1 Aug. ’87). ‘Dance Monkey’ is getting towards breaking record for most weeks at #1 on the Singles Chart by an Australian artist, currently held by Justice Crew with Que Sera (#1 May 2014), at nine weeks.#2: Post Malone ‘Circles’ – Hitting #1 on the Albums Chart with Hollywood’s Bleeding, Post Malone scores two tracks in this week’s Top Five, and 13 entries in the Top 50, including nine debuts. A week after debuting at #5, ‘Circles’ moves up three spots to #2, becoming the American hip hop artist’s seventh single to peak in the Top Two. ‘Goodbyes’ jumps up six spots to return to its debut position of #5.
