This week's album chartifacts

#1: Twenty One Pilots ‘Trench’ (Debut) – Twenty One Pilots take out their first #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with 'Trench'. The American duo’s fifth studio album is the follow-up to breakthrough release 'Blurryface' (#7 August ’16). It’s a concept album based around a walled city named Dema. Twenty One Pilots will be touring Australia in support of the album in December.
#3: Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper ‘A Star Is Born’ (Debut) – The soundtrack to the 2018 remake of 'A Star Is Born' hits this week’s Albums Chart. The album features tracks performed and written by the film’s stars, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, as well as writing contributions from Mark Ronson, Lukas Nelson, Jason Isbell and Dianne Warren, among others. One track from the soundtrack, ‘Shallow’, has debuted at #25 on this week’s Singles Chart. Lady Gaga last appeared on the Albums Chart with 'Joanne' (#2 October ’16).
#7: Soundtrack ‘The Greatest Showman’ – After dropping out of the Top Ten last week for the first time since January, the 'Greatest Showman' soundtrack moves back up five spots this week to #7, hitting its 41st week in the Top Ten.
