This week's album chartifacts

#1: Harry Styles ‘Fine Line’ – The former One Direction member’s second studio album spends a third week atop the ARIA Albums Chart, having only missed out once in its four-week run. It remains #1 on the ARIA Vinyl Albums Chart for the fourth week in a row. The latest single from the LP, ‘Adore You’ retains the #10 position on the Singles Chart, while ‘Watermelon Sugar’ rises one place to #22.
#7: Lewis Capaldi ‘Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent’ – Rising nine places, Lewis Capaldi’s debut LP reaches a new peak on the ARIA Albums Chart. The 23-year-old Scottish singer has been a staple on Australian airwaves for months, scoring breakthrough success with single ‘Someone You Loved’, which reached #4 on the Singles Chart in June 2019 and this week sits at #17. Latest single ‘Before You Go’ this week leaps six places to a new high of #12.

#1: Tones And I ‘Dance Monkey’ – ‘Dance Monkey’ extends its record for the longest time at the top of the ARIA Singles Chart to 23 weeks. The song also came in at #1 on the Australian Artist Singles Chart for 2019 and #10 in the Australian Artist Singles Chart for the decade. Tones And I’s latest single ‘Never Seen The Rain’ logs an 11th week inside the Top Ten, where it sits at #9, while her The Kids Are Coming EP rises one spot to #6 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
#8: Justin Bieber ‘Yummy’ (debut) – The first taste of Justin Bieber’s forthcoming fifth studio album, the R&B-style ‘Yummy’ is the Canadian singer’s first entry as lead artist in the ARIA Singles Chart since ‘Friends’ debuted at #2 in August 2017. This is Bieber’s eighth top ten chart entry on his own, although he’s a featured artist on many other Top Ten hits. Bieber also appears in the Top 50 this week as featured vocalist on Dan + Shay’s ‘10,000 Hours’, which drops three places to #24, while his collaboration with Ed Sheeran, ‘I Don’t Care’, which peaked at #1 last May, slides five spots to #35.
