This week, Shania Twain comes back after 15 years, Miley Cyrus releases 'Younger Now' and the Macklemore and Ryan Lewis track 'Same Love' returns to the top 50 for the first time since May 2013.

This week's album chartifacts:

#1: Shania Twain ‘Now’ (debut) – Returning with her first album of new material in 15 years, Canadian country pop star Shania Twain takes out her third #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Twain’s fifth album, 'Now' marks the singer-songwriter’s return to recording after a period away from music following 'Greatest Hits' (#10 November ’04).
#2: Miley Cyrus ‘Younger Now’ (debut) – The sixth studio album from Miley Cyrus gives the American singer-songwriter a fourth top ten entry on the ARIA Albums Chart. Released two years on from the experimental album 'Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz', 'Younger Now' sees Cyrus turning back towards country pop. It includes the singles ‘Malibu’ (#3 May ’17) and the title track (#49 August ’17). Miley Cyrus’s other top ten entries have been with 'Breakout' (#1 September ’08), 'Can’t Be Tamed' (#4 July ’10) and 'Bangerz' (#1 October ’13).
#7: Rick Price & Jack Jones ‘California Dreaming’ (debut) – Australian singer-songwriters Rick Price and Jack Jones team up to reimagine '60s and '70s classics on 'California Dreaming'. The album includes covers of tracks made famous by the likes of Eagles, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, The Doors and more.
#8: Demi Lovato ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ (debut) – Two years on from scoring her first top ten entry on the Albums Chart with 'Confident' (#3 October ’15) Demi Lovato claims her second with 'Tell Me You Love Me'. Lovato’s sixth album features the single ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ (#8 September ’17), her highest peak to date on the Singles Chart.
#9: Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers ‘Greatest Hits’ – Following the passing of legendary American singer-songwriter Tom Petty on 2 October, the 1993 compilationGreatest Hits returns to top 50. The album originally peaked at #16 in January 1994, meaning it snares a new peak this week.

This week's single chartifacts:

#1: Post Malone Feat. 21 Savage ‘Rockstar’ – ‘Rockstar’ by American rapper Post Malone holds #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for a second straight week. To date, the track has peaked at #2 in both the US and UK.
#4: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Feat. Mary Lambert ‘Same Love’ – Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ former #1 returns to the top 50 for the first time since May 2013 on the back of Macklemore’s performance at the NRL Grand Final. This week is its tenth week in the top ten and 21st week in the top 50.
#8: Camila Cabello Feat. Young Thug ‘Havana’ – Moving up eight spots this week, ‘Havana’ hits #8 and becomes Camila Cabello’s first solo top ten entry.
#9: Khalid ‘Young Dumb & Broke’ – In its seventh week in the top 50, ‘Young Dumb & Broke’ climbs up four spots to crack the top ten for the first time. It’s Khalid’s first top ten single as a lead artist, having peaked at #5 last week as the featured artist on Logic’s ‘1-800-273-8255’.
