This week's album chartifacts

#1: Lana Del Rey ‘Lust For Life’ (debut) – American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey scores her fourth ARIA Albums Chart #1 with her fifth album ‘Lust For Life’. The follow-up to 'Honeymoon' (#1 September ’15) features collaborations with Stevie Nicks, Sean Ono Lennon, The Weeknd and more. Del Rey has also previously hit the peak position with 'Born To Die' (#1 February ’12) and 'Ultraviolence' (#1 June ’14).
#2: Linkin Park ‘Hybrid Theory’ – Following a similar trend to that of this week’s Singles Chart, Linkin Park have nine albums re-enter the top 50 this week. The highest charting is 'Hybrid Theory', which was released in 2000 and has returned to its original peak positon at #2. The band have also charted with 'One More Light' (#4), 'Meteora' (#5), 'Minutes To Midnight' (#7), 'Collision Course' with Jay-Z (#28), 'The Hunting Party' (#38), 'Living Things' (#40), 'A Thousand Suns' (#47) and 'Studio Collection' (#49).
#6: Vera Blue ‘Perennial’ (debut) – Sydney’s Celia Pavey hits the ARIA Albums Chart for the first time under the Vera Blue moniker with 'Perennial'. The album comes four years on from the former Voice contestant’s debut album 'This Music' (#14 July ’13). Pavey began performing as Vera Blue in September 2015 with the single release, ‘Hold’.
#8: Tyler, The Creator ‘Flower Boy’ (debut) – With his fourth solo album, LA rapper Tyler, The Creator hits the top ten on the ARIA Albums Chart for the first time. 'Flower Boy' comes just over two years on from 'Cherry Bomb' (#13 April ’15) and features appearances from Frank Ocean, Lil Wayne, Pharrell, Jaden Smith and more.

#1: Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee Feat. Justin Bieber ‘Despacito’ – Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee have racked up their eleventh straight week at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart with their Justin Bieber-featured single ‘Despacito’.
#7: Macklemore Feat. Skylar Grey ‘Glorious’ – Climbing eight spots from last week, ‘Glorious’ hits a new peak and becomes Macklemore’s first top 10 on the ARIA Singles Chart as a solo artist.
#10: Linkin Park ‘In The End’ – Six tracks feature in the top 50 on this week’s ARIA Singles Chart. Linkin Park are also charting with ‘Numb’ (#18), ‘Heavy’ featuring Kiiara (#39), ‘What I’ve Done’ (#40), ‘Numb / Encore’ featuring Jay-Z (#48) and ‘One Step Closer’ (#49).
