Welcome to This Week In Pop.

This week, BTS return after a four-year break with 'Arirang' and scream straight to the top of the ARIA Albums Chart.

Named after a traditional Korean folk song, 'Arirang' is the band’s third #1 and seventh top 10 album here since 2018.

Adelaide rock band Bad//Dreems debut at #5 on the Albums Chart with 'Ultra Dundee'. It’s also their fifth time in the top 50: until now, their best performer was 'Hoo Ha!', which reached #10 in 2023.

American country star Luke Combs debuts at #3 with his sixth studio album, 'The Way I Am'.

On the Singles Chart, Olivia Dean’s dominance rolls on with 'Man I Need' holding at #1 for the 19th week in a row. The last time a different song was on top was mid-November, when Taylor Swift’s 'The Fate Of Ophelia' was at the end of its six-week run.

BTS land at #4 on the ARIA Singles Chart with 'Swim'. It’s their sixth top 10 single. Tame Impala’s 'Dracula' keep climbing, up from #8 to #7.
