The Newcastle leg of This That festival will proceed after event organisers moved the date back a fortnight to accommodate the recent event restrictions imposed by the NSW Government in relation to COVID.
And the good news doesn't stop there, with the entire original line-up (with the exception of Polish Club) confirmed to play the revised date of 12 March."We've come too far to give in, third times a charm," This That organisers stated.
"For those who may have missed it – This That Newcastle is forging ahead, now crashing Wickham Park just a fortnight later on Saturday 12 March. New date, same party – hold onto those tickets.
"This That organisers would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who has supported the festival through these recent changes.
"Ticket holders, artists, Newcastle Council, event crew and all stakeholders have maintained an unreal level of patience, flexibility and optimism – making This That even more determined to deliver."
Anyone unable to attend the new Newcastle date, a one-week refund window via Oztix will be open from 9am EDT on 7 February.
As confirmed last week, the Brisbane instalment of This That will proceed 5 March.
