This That 2023 First Line-Up

This That returns to Queensland and New South Wales in late 2023, serving up a stacked line-up of 28 acts in its first line-up.

The festival returns to two idyllic coastal locations in November, transforming them into immersive, multi-sensory experiences filled with world-class music and art. This That will take over Sandstone Point Hotel in Queensland, before kick-ons in Newcastle, New South Wales.

Leading the chart in the first line-up are ARIA Award-winning, platinum record-selling alt-rock trailblazers Gang Of Youths and megastar American singer-songwriter and producer Porter Robinson, headlining over two huge weekends.



Gang Of Youths will deliver their iconic, anthem sermon of alt-rock introspection. . . Meanwhile Porter Robinson hits our shores fresh off a global tour which wrapped at Coachella.

Peking Duk, the princes of party, will set the stage on fire with their larger-than-life, wild, sweat-soaked dance floor mayhem. For the lovers of Aussie indie big hitters, the likes of Hockey Dad, Alex Lahey and Lola Scott join the ranks too.



Plus, get hot and heavy with Trophy Eyes and Dear Seattle, and let your soul sour with Winstone Surfshirt. The rap and hip hop vibes will be coming in hot from Chillinit, Hooligan Hefs, Jesswar and Sophiya, and Slumberjack, Set Mo, Godlands, Kinder and Alice Ivy will spin the latest and greatest dance floor two steppers.

This That is a festival playground set across three stages – THIS stage features a larger-than-life open air firework frenzy, THAT stage is a rave cave to cut loose in, and the OTHER stage will mystify with immersive art, sound and sensory installations.

Tickets are on sale 3 August at 8am.

This That takes place at Sandstone Point Hotel (Queensland) on 4 November and Newcastle (New South Wales) on 11 November.
