This That 2022 Line-up

While the winter chill is very real presently, summer isn't too far away with This That dropping a monster line-up for its Newcastle and Brisbane events.

After staging their 2021 festivals earlier this year with an all-local line-up, This That will welcome two international guests in late 2022 – American rapper Earl Sweatshirt ('Chum', 'Riot!' and fresh off dropping new record 'SICK!') and Lady Jesus herself, American pop-rock rising star UPSAHL ('Drugs', 'People I Don't Like').

Set to close out both events will be Australian electronic wizards Flight Facilities bringing the dance floor alive with their epic live show and breathtaking light display.

A couple of acts who played one leg of This That in early 2022 are back to replicate the love at the other stage. What So Not will return from the UK to melt faces in Brisbane, while The Presets will raise the party to the top-shelf in Newcastle.

Novocastrians will also receive an exclusive set from honorary Brits DMA'S. Sick!



Vera Blue will be 'Rushing Back' to give us her 'Regular Touch' at both festivals alongside genre-mashers Winston Surfshirt and the new faces of Aussie hip hop: Chillinit, Jesswar and Hooligan Hefs.

If you're looking to burn holes in your shoes cutting shapes, the beats will flow steadily from Slumberjack, Set Mo, Godlands and Alice Ivy.

After a gigantic serving of indie rock? Skegss, Hockey Dad, Dear Seattle, Ruby Fields and Trophy Eyes will be busy cooking up a storm.

With event organisers promising further artist announcements, emerging indie pop Illawarra artist Lola Scott and Maitland sister-duo Kinder round out the line-up to date.
