There are many ways to announce a world tour, but Thirty Seconds to Mars' Jared Leto has just one upped the entire globe.
The frontman for 'This Is War', 'Kings And Queens', 'The Kill' pop rockers, Leto scaled New York City's iconic Empire State Building – the first person to ever achieve the feat – to reveal the band's Seasons 2024 world tour, which will travel to Australia next September.Set to visit Latin America, Europe, and North America as well, TSTM will headline concerts in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
A life-long fascination with the Empire State Building led the Oscar-winning actor, who is an avid climber, to complete the daredevil feat.
"The building is a testament of all the things that can be done in the world if we put our minds to it," Jared says, "which is largely the inspiration behind our most recent album, 'It's The End Of The World But It's A Beautiful Day'."
The band returned to the spotlight earlier this year when they dropped the lead single to 'It's The End Of The World But It's A Beautiful Day', 'Stuck' that was their first new music in half a decade.
Tickets on sale from 1pm (local time) on 17 November.
