Australian folk-pop musician Thelma Plum will embark on a 10-date national tour this spring; the run of shows promoting her upcoming album, 'I'm Sorry, Now Say It Back'.
A Gamilaraay woman, musician and creator, Plum will headline concerts in Newcastle, Wollongong, Sydney, Adelaide, Fremantle, Melbourne, Hobart, Gold Coast, Toowoomba and Brisbane in October-November."It seems like forever since I did a national headline tour, but with a brand new album to choose songs from, the band and I are putting together a whole new show to play in these beautiful rooms. Can't wait to show you all," shares Thelma.
A deeply personal and emotionally complicated album that's the result of five years of writing, recording, and reflecting in studios around the world, Thelma recently shared a third single, 'Freckles', from 'I'm Sorry, Now Say It Back' (released 18 October; pre-order it). 'Freckles' follows previous album singles 'Nobody's Baby' and 'We Don't Talk About It'.
"This record has been a long time in the making," Plum says. "It was created with love, heartache, forgiveness and care in mind. It's personal and kind of like I'm sharing pages from my diary with you, but it's time for it to fly free."
Melbourne alternative folk band The Slingers support Thelma on these shows everywhere except in Adelaide, where Miss Kaninna will join and Fremantle, where both Miss Kaninna and Banjo Lucia will support Thelma.
Tickets on sale from 9am (local time) on 30 August.
