The Wiggles Pay Respect To Malcolm Young By Covering AC/DC's 'Thunderstruck'

The Wiggles have paid tribute to the late Malcolm Young, covering AC/DC's 'Thunderstruck' during their recent Perth concert.
National Music Editor, based in Brisbane, Australia.
'Passionate about true crime docos, the Swannies, golf and sleep, I’ve been writing about music for 20-plus years. What I’ve learnt? There’s two types of music – good and bad.’

The passing of AC/DC's Malcolm Young at the weekend has seen the global music world voice their appreciation and love for one of the world's most influential rhythm guitarists of all time.

While our PM may struggle to name an AC/DC song, the country's leading children entertainers, The Wiggles, certainly know a riff or two from the doyen of rock & roll's back catalogue.

They paid tribute to Malcolm Young last night during their Perth concert with the opening riff from 'Thunderstuck'.

And here's the original song in all its magnificent glory. RIP Malcolm, you absolute legend.
