After performing to 1.6 million people during the European leg of his world tour, 'Blinding Lights' artist The Weeknd is headed to Australia.
The 'After Hours Til Dawn' stadium series will land in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne from late November.The Canadian singer-songwriter, record producer, who has won 4 Grammys, 20 Billboard Music Awards and 22 Juno Award, will be joined by special guests Mike Dean and Chxrry22.
Otherwise known as Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, The Weeknd has released five studio albums, with this tour celebrating 2020 album 'After Hours' and 2022 album 'Dawn FM'.
Tesfaye is also United Nations World Food Programme Goodwill Ambassador, with funds raised from this tour contributed to the XO Humanitarian Fund.
More recently, Abel co-created and starred in the controversial HBO series 'The Idol' directed by Sam Levinson.
Tickets go on sale 1 September: Melbourne from 10am, Brisbane from 11am and Sydney from 12pm (local times).
