After its inaugural event in 2023, Hello Sunshine returns to Melbourne for another sizzling serving of live music alongside succulent food trucks, charming market stalls and roving performers to keep the kids engaged for hours.
To be staged at Caribbean Gardens at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges on 2 March, the family-friendly Hello Sunshine will welcome a slew of talented artists including '90s grunge rockers Grinspoon ('Hard Act To Follow', 'Chemical Heart'), alt-pop icons The Veronicas ('Untouched', 'In My Blood' and '4ever'), and indie legends The Temper Trap ('Sweet Deposition', 'Love Lost', 'Trembling Hands').Then there's hip hop OGs Bliss N Eso ('Moments', 'Addicted', 'Act Your Age'), 'Better Days' singer-songwriter Pete Murray and rising country star Brad Cox ('Give Me Tonight', 'Acres').
"2023 has been a great year for us," shares Grinspoon's Phil Jamieson, "and we're excited to get together for Hello Sunshine to start Grinspoon's 2024 off just right."
Adds The Veronicas: "Melbourne! We're bringing our new music to you for 2024, as well as making this the biggest sing-along of all our hits Melbourne has ever seen. Can't wait to see you Hello Sunshine!"
For the kids and young at heart, The Wiggles Sound System will make sure the smiles remain big and bright as Anthony, John and DJ Dorothy debut their newest show. While there'll also be a number of local artists taking to he main stage.
"Where classic Wiggles tunes meet electrifying beats," says John of The Wiggles' Sound System. "Can't wait to play with DJ Dorothy and OG Anthony Wiggle on the decks, delivering a nostalgic fusion that will keep you wiggling!"
Hello Sunshine will also feature 20 international food trucks, a wide range of bars and beverages, over 15 carnival rides and attractions, an epic FMX show with insane aerial motorbike flips and tricks, a show-stopping fireworks display, and market stalls by some of the best local makers, curators, and small business owners.
"Hello Sunshine was such a runaway success in early 2023, we knew we were on to something special, and couldn't wait to bring it back bigger and better in 2024," shares Lucky Group partner Keiran Dole.
