V is for victory. It was no surprise that opening night (23 September) of The V Room at Villa Noosa was a full house, with the featured line-up presented by Beats Cartel outstanding.
The night began with Los Laws and then lucky for us Iron Eye was able to step in for Columbus and kept the night pumping. Sunshine Coast favourites Walken came on next and made sure the night continued to build and it was all fun and games when DZ Deathrays took to the stage.

It was evident that each band had their own following, some travelling from Brisbane to check out this event, however, it was the energy of the crowd during the DZ Deathrays performance that really made the room rock.
