Currently one of Australia's biggest musical acts, in early January The Teskey Brothers will tour nationally for an outdoor run of shows as part of a day on the green.
The 'Forever You And Me', 'Pain And Misery' and 'So Caught Up' soul rockers will be joined by American alt. country royalty Bands Of Horses ('The Funeral', 'No One's Gunna Love You', 'Is There A Ghost') who return to Australia for the first time since 2016.Set to play Perth, Barossa Valley, Geelong, Bowral, Hunter Valley and Brisbane, the remainder of the bill will feature Americana, folk and roots Nashville artist Sierra Ferrell (currently touring the US with Zach Bryan), the Australian live debut of Irish country music disruptor CMAT ('I Don't Really Care For You', 'I Wanna Be A Cowboy, Baby!'), and emerging Melbourne-based singer and multi-instrumentalist Charlie Needs Braces.
"After many months on tour overseas we are excited to be bringing the show home for this very special a day on the green run in January," Josh Teskey says. "To make it a full day's affair, it's a huge thrill to be bringing together some of our favourite acts from around the world.
"Honoured to be joined by the epic Band Of Horses, Nashville legend Sierra Ferrell, always excited to see CMAT, and our local favourite Charlie Needs Braces. Come join us for what will be a beautiful day on the green."
These will be The Teskey Brothers' only Australian shows of this tour.
