The resurgence of Australian indie rockers The Temper Trap continues with a trio of intimate Australian concerts scheduled next month.
Fresh from the release of the single 'Lucky Dimes' – their first new music in nine years – the band will headline shows in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

At their peak in the late '00s to mid '10s, The Temper Trap have entered a new era thanks in part to fan favourite 'Love Lost' being added to Mac Miller's posthumously re-released 'Faces' mixtape in 2021.
That was followed by recent remixes of 'Sweet Disposition' by the likes of John Summit, Vintage Culture, VXSION and Lost Frequencies. 'Sweet Disposition' also recently landed at #11 in triple j's Hottest 100 Australian Songs Of All Time list.
'Lucky Dimes' adds a bolder, heavier edge to their signature indie-rock sound, with frontman Dougy Mandagi's unmistakable vocals cutting through a storm of scuzzy guitars and thumping drumbeats.
"Good to know that nine years after the last one, we still have something to say," Dougy says. "It's been an absolute pleasure creating this record and we can't wait to share it with you, not to relive the past but to write the next chapter."
