Canadian rock band The Tea Party return to Australia in 2024, as part of their 25th anniversary celebrations of their 1999 studio album, 'Triptych'.
Their first live shows down under since 2019, The Tea Party will headline shows in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Wollongong and Brisbane in June."The three of us are looking forward to bringing the magic of our fourth studio album 'Triptych' to live audiences in Australia," the band says, whose frontman Jeff Martin lives in Byron Bay.
"The album features several timeless classics including 'Heaven Coming Down' amongst others. Join us as we take this journey into an iconic era in The Tea Party's history together."
The Tea Party will play select cuts from 'Triptych' (including the Daniel Lanois' cover 'The Messenger') some of which have haven't been heard live for years (if ever) as well as a selection of their greatest hits and rarities.
Tickets on sale from 11am (local time) on 26 February.
