Post-punk and new wave classic rockers, The Stranglers return to Australia in 2025 to celebrate their golden anniversary.
A band with such a rich catalogue of iconic hits like 'Golden Brown', 'Always The Sun', 'No More Heroes' and 'Peaches' as well as a stack of fan favourites (24 UK Top 40 singles) bring their 50th Anniversary tour to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth next March.First formed in 1974, The Stranglers no bullsh.t attitude was embraced by the punk movement of the late '70s. However, their musicianship transcended the genre creating a sound unique to themselves.
Their distinctive sound – combining dark aggression with melodic brilliance and effortless cool – has earned them recognition as one of the most credible and influential bands to emerge from the punk era; their six-decade career is nothing short of legendary.
