Brisbane band The Smart have released a new film clip for their latest single, ‘All Is Well’.
The video features a montage containing rare film footage from Tasmania’s history, including scenes from military parades, Royal visits and family life growing up in rural Tasmania in the early 1900s.
After inheriting films produced by three generations of family members, now stored at the Tasmanian Archives, Sarah Allen – the wife of lead singer Jeremy — created the video piece as a lasting memento for her family, a precious gift for this generation and the next.
‘All Is Well’ is the first single from the new album by The Smart — they’ll be releasing a new song once a month for the remainder of the year, each accompanied by a film clip shot by various artists.
The group’s keyboardist Johny stopped by recently to share his top five concertgoer types.
